Useful monitoring without a personal profile
The public site does not require a visitor account. My Places watches are designed to stay in the browser on the device where they were saved.
My Places
Saved place names, coordinates, watch types, and preferences use browser local storage. They are not a background location-tracking service.
Basic server records
Like most websites, hosting and security systems may process IP address, browser, requested URL, timestamp, and technical error information.
External map and source services
Loading maps or following an official-source link may connect the browser to that provider, which operates under its own privacy practices.
Control on your device
You can remove saved watches from My Places or clear this site’s browser storage. WordPress may use essential cookies for administrators who sign in; ordinary public browsing does not require an account.
Texas Hazard Watch does not intentionally sell visitor personal information. This notice will be updated if the site adds accounts, subscriptions, analytics, advertising, or another feature that materially changes data handling.
